Point clouds from the cloud, straight into Revit
The Qbitec plugin for Autodesk Revit now streams point clouds in the open Entwine format directly from the web — and it supports 360ForYou project links natively. Publish a scan, paste one link into Revit, and model using the full dataset without downloading a single file.

Entwine slices a point cloud into an octree of small tiles, so Revit requests only the parts — and the level of detail — the current view actually needs.
Stream instead of copying
A scan tens of gigabytes in size stays on the server while the plugin pulls only the visible tiles. Laptops on site open datasets that would never fit on their disks.
One link, always current
Re-upload or extend the project, and everyone works with the updated data — in Revit, in the browser, on the construction site. The link never changes.

Enable access via link
In the project settings, set privacy to "public" or "via link". Qbitec streams via HTTPS and requires no tokens.

Paste it into Qbitec
On the Qbitec ribbon, choose Insert Point Cloud → Public URL, paste the link and pick an insert mode. The plugin discovers the point cloud behind the link and starts streaming.

EPT is an open, cloud-optimized octree format from the PDAL ecosystem. 360ForYou has always stored point clouds this way — it is what makes the browser viewer fast. Qbitec for Revit now reads exactly the same tiles: no second copy, no proprietary bridge, no lock-in.
